Aaj ke time me “inclusive education” ka matlab hai ki children with disabilities ko bhi mainstream classrooms, same curriculum, aur dignified support mile. Law usually schools pe clear duties daalta hai – ramp, accessible toilets, resource teachers, learning aids, exam accommodations, bullying prevention, etc.
Private aur public dono schools expected hote hain ki woh admission stage pe hi discrimination na karein. “We don’t take special kids” jaisa line legally risky ho sakta hai. Instead, question yeh hona chahiye ki “kaise adjust karein?” – seating, teaching pace, assistive technology, peer support programs.
Parents ke paas complaint mechanisms hote hain – education departments, child rights commissions, disability commissioners, and sometimes courts. Documentation – medical certificates, repeated denial emails, fee receipts – sab helpful hota hai.
Schools ki concern genuine hoti hai – limited budget, trained staff shortage, infrastructure gaps. Law unse overnight perfection nahi, good faith effort and gradual compliance expect karta hai.
Ultimately aim simple hai: child ko “burden” nahi, full human potential ke saath student treat kiya jaye.
